About Xander Alexander, Founder of SecuriTea
Founder background

I've sat on both sides of the briefing room.

I spent years as the operator: FBI mobile forensics, the State Department, Protiviti, Moody's, running cybersecurity for teams that couldn't afford to get it wrong. Then I spent years as the translator at Google and Motorola Solutions, turning that same work into language executives, customers, and the public could act on. Most people have one of those skill sets. I built SecuriTea because almost nobody I met had both.

The SecuriTea doctrine
Security programs don't fail from lack of technology. They fail from lack of permission, and permission is earned through trust, not fear.

The path

Path01

Operator.

FBI mobile forensics and the U.S. Department of State, where getting the technical detail wrong had consequences that no press release could soften.

FBI · U.S. Department of State
Path02

Advisor.

Protiviti and Moody's, running and assessing cybersecurity programs for organizations that answer to boards, regulators, and markets.

Protiviti · Moody's
Path03

Translator.

Google and Motorola Solutions, turning security engineering into language executives, customers, and the public could act on.

Path04

SecuriTea.

One practice that carries both halves: the credibility of having done the work, and the ability to explain it to the people who fund it. The cause behind it: cybersecurity, physical security, and AI security should operate as one system, and be explained as one.

Cybersecurity · Physical security · AI security
The dual capability

The operator and the translator

01

The operator

I spent years in the field running forensic analysis, incident response, and cybersecurity for federal agencies and financial institutions. I know what the logs actually show, and where the architecture is held together by workarounds.

  • Forensic evidence collection
  • Enterprise incident response
  • Programs that answer to boards and regulators
02

The translator

I spent years at Google and Motorola Solutions turning complex engineering into messages that boards approve, enterprise buyers sign off on, and go-to-market teams repeat cleanly.

  • Executive talk tracks
  • Answers to the objections buyers actually raise
  • Messaging behind signed enterprise deals
